Time:    6.30-8.00 pm

  Where:   Horizons of Okaloosa County  

Come and hear first hand accounts from a panel of  adults with Autism.  The panel will share their experiences and advise on transitioning though the teenage years and into adulthood. There will also be a question and answer time at the end.

No matter what age your child is they will reach adulthood sooner than you think. Our children will spend many more years as an adult than they ever did as a child.  The time to start preparing is now!  You will want to come and be inspired to help your child reach their God given potential!

 

The panel will consist of : Theo Farnsworth co-founder of Emerge our support group for adults on the spectrum.  Theo is married and living with Aspergers.

Sarah McCarren is an adult with High Functioning Autism and graduated UWF with a degree in journalism.

Teenagers are welcome to attend this meeting

Childcare can be provided upon request.  Please email me no later than Monday morning March 8th to reserve childcare.
