Adult Asperger/HFA Support Group

Emerge

Why Emerge?

Group Name: Emerge

Slogan: Phenomenal People. In Plain Sight.

Dictionary.com says that to emerge is to come forth from a place shut off from view or from concealment into sight or notice

.
Wikipedia says that Emergence is where a complex system and patterns rise out of multiplicity of relatively simple interactions.

Interaction is where two or more objects have an effect upon one another  it is a 2-way effect.

Interconnectivity is interactions of interactions with systems. Combinations of many systems can lead to surprising EMERGING phenomena.

Phenomenon is an observable occurrence or extraordinary event.

We chose the active verb EMERGE because we wanted it to be a
continuing event...not past tense.

We want people to use the goals of the Adult Support Group to interact, to interconnect. We believe that, ultimately, we will see a surprising EMERGING phenomena. It’s already happening.
